Harvard Study: Perception of Legal and Illegal Corruption in Illinois
It's all bad news for Illinois, which is ranked among the most corrupt states in the nation. At least we're not the very worst, right?

If you’ve lived in Illinois long enough, you know corruption has been and continues to be a serious problem.
A recent study by the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University used a perception-based index to measure two forms of corruption, illegal and legal, in all 50 states and within each of the three branches of government.
And it’s all bad news for Illinois, which was among a handful of states ranked as the most corrupt in the nation for both forms of corruption.
