The Illinois governor’s race was the epitome of big money politics, dwarfing all previous campaign spending records for the state’s highest office.

More than $100 million was spent throughout the course of the campaign, all in an effort to get your vote. But how much did it actually cost Gov. Pat Quinn and Gov.-elect Bruce Rauner for each ballot cast?
