ORLAND PARK, IL — A number of companies will be looking to hire during a job fair hosted by the village of Orland Park and Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Dec. 9. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon that day at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14760 S. Ravinia Ave.
It will bring together employers seeking to fill positions locally and area job seekers, according to a news release from the village. The public is invited to attend the event, meet with potential employers and complete applications/deliver résumés.
“It just makes sense,” Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau said. “There are jobs available in the community, and there are people in the community without jobs... My hope in hosting this event is that we may bring together qualified individuals to help fill these positions.”
