Juvenile Charged In Orland Park Armed Robbery

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park police on Friday arrested an underage person in connection with the armed robbery and attempted armed robbery incidents from last Sunday. The juvenile faces armed robbery and other charges, police said in an update on social media.

On Nov. 17, an armed robbery was first reported in the 9100 block of Helen Lane. Then, three hours later, there was an attempted armed robbery in the 14300 block of Deer Haven Lane at 3:30 p.m., police said in a social media post.

The three robbers got away in a stolen car that was later found in Blue Island.

They are also wanted for purse thefts and armed robberies in other towns, police said.
