KIDSFEST Starts Monday at Calvary Church
A FREE week long adventure for kids begins Monday at Calvary Church in Orland Park. Games, water slides and more !
Splish Splash waterslides, crazy science experiments, life size hungry hippo games...can it get any better than that at KIDSFEST?
There is so much fun packed into every morning…and it’s FREE, so why wouldn’t you bring your children?
“Kids are going to experience a week full of fun and friendships,” said Calvary’s Children Ministry Director, Tiffany Johnston. “They will be part of a small group with kids their age or close in range. We have awesome team leaders and assistants that will take them to all their activities and cultivate friendships in the group. Each child receives their own KidsFest 2016 t-shirt to wear every day. they love to get as many signatures on it as possible,” Johnston added.

This event is for children ages 4 (by Sept 1st) through 6th grade. This is open to the community.

“We are flying in some amazing entertainment for the week,’ said Johnston. “Jagee Melton who is a singer performer from Texas, will get us pumped up with her music as we kick off every morning. Clayton Poland, from Louisiana, will entertain us with comedy, story-telling, science experiments and illusions,’ she added.
“The kids will have a blast with our themed days we have laid out,” explains Johnston.
“Arts & Science day will include messy activities and experiments. Splash day includes a huge inflatable slip n slide and water slide from ‘All Four Fun Inflatables’ as well as water relay games. Sports Day is all about being active through playing Human Hungry Hippos, Epic Ball and more. Our Community Project day will help put perspective into kids’ lives that they have it pretty easy compared to other kids in our community and around the globe. The kids will be packing food boxes for Children’s Hunger Fund as well as engaging in a fun filled interactive game show. We will celebrate our final day with a mini carnival! Games, prizes, candy, bounce houses, the Traveling World of Reptiles, and cotton candy.”
