Last Minute Flu Shots at Moraine Valley Community College

The flu hits hardest in January and February, so it’s not too late to get a flu shot! Orland Township flu shots will be available at Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 College Parkway on Wednesday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vaccines for individuals 19 and older are available for $25.

Residents 65 and older with Medicare Part B are eligible to receive the immunization free of charge. A Medicare Part B card must be presented at the time of vaccination. Those with an HMO/Advantage Medicare plan are not eligible for a free vaccination and should visit their primary care physician.

Senior high-dose flu vaccine is also available for residents 65 and older for $40. This vaccine is also free with a Medicare Part B card.
