A woman claims the nursing home left a relative unattended when he fell and suffered fatal injuries.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- An Orland Park nursing home has been sued for negligence after a woman claims they are in part responsible for a relative’s death that occurred after a fall at the facility.
Nancy Mader filed a lawsuit against Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc. doing business as Lexington of Orland Park as special administrator of the estate of Walter H. Mader, according to The Cook County Record.
The plaintiff alleges that Mader suffered fatal injuries after he fell while he was unattended. She accuses Lexington of failing to provide adequate supervision and addressing Mader’s risk of falling.
