Library Announces Concert Lineup

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs to ensure a comfortable seat.

The library has a great lineup of lobby and outside concerts planned for the months of May through August. The library does not require registration or charge admission for concerts, so it is recommended to arrive early. For outdoor concerts, patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs to ensure a comfortable seat. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be held indoors.

Concert in the Lobby: Bird X Butterfly

Bird x Butterfly is a Korean-American musical duo from Chicago, Illinois. The band consists of two members, Frances Kang and Paul Kim, who create indie-pop music characterized by ethereal soundscapes, introspective lyrics, and haunting, oftentimes harmonizing vocals.

Family Event. Laura Doherty & the Heartbeats acoustically rock your kid’s world with breezy folk-pop tunes from their five Parent’s Choice award-winning albums. This upbeat, interactive concert will have kids dancing, clapping, and singing Laura’s catchy tunes. No registration required.

Summer Concert: Cadillac Groove

Sunday, July 14 at 2 p.m.

There are sweet grooves, good grooves, and great grooves – and then there’s the Cadillac Groove. Jump into the purple caddy for a fun ride through /southern Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B, Soul, and all points in between.

Soul Sacrifice pays tribute to Carlos Santana's enduring legacy, spanning from Woodstock to the present day, featuring his greatest hits like "Soul Sacrifice," "Smooth," and more.
