The Orland Park Public Library will host its highly anticipated OPPLcon Fan Fest on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This all-ages event promises a day filled with activities, including a Rolling Videogame Truck, an Artist Alley featuring local talent, interactive games, crafts, and a Halloween-themed Trick or Treat storytime.

Attendees will have the opportunity to win a Nintendo Switch and other prizes, and are encouraged to wear their best family-friendly superhero costumes. The Artist Alley will showcase artists like Addie Afable, Jessica Trudeau, Jorge Garza, Michelle Nee, and many others, with comics, toys, crafts, and merchandise available for purchase.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will also feature a pet adoption opportunity with NAWS (National Animal Welfare Society), a no-kill humane society dedicated to animal welfare. NAWS will bring adoptable pets to the library, promoting responsible pet ownership and offering information on their low-cost spay and neuter programs.
