Local All Girl Teen Band wins Taste of Orland Park Battle of the Bands

BLOODY MARY BAND WINS TASTE OR ORLAND PARK BATTLE OF THE BANDS

AUGUST 19, 2014 – Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, and Orland Park, IL.

Local all girl teen rock band Bloody Mary won the Taste of Orland Park Battle of the Bands on August 2, 2014. This is the first level of competition in the Illinois Parks and Recreation Association State Teen Battle of the Bands. Bloody Mary will advance to the 2015 Regional competition.

ABOUT BLOODY MARY

Bloody Mary is an all-girl teen rock band that has been taking Chicago and the surrounding Midwest area by storm since 2010. This group of high-energy performers is known for their unique sound and impressive array of both original music and covers. Bloody Mary released their first CD “Coming of Age” on the Dark Star Records/Sony label in February 2013 and is hard at work on a new original EP.

Bloody Mary has received positive press from Chicago Magazine, Music Junkie Press, and recently appeared on the nationally syndicated Mancow in the Morning Show. Members of the band are:
