Meet a Loyola Doctor

Craig McAsey, MD, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine specializes in hip and knee joint replacements. Dr. McAsey earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Arlington, Va. He lives in Lockport with his wife Emily, who serves in the Illinois House of Representatives, and daughter Clair. His interests include bicycling, dogs and woodworking. He sees patients in Homer Glen, Burr Ridge and the Loyola Outpatient Center in Maywood.

Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, a community hospital of the Loyola University Health System, has four high-performing specialties in the new rankings: Geriatrics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics and Urology.

Loyola University Health System (LUHS) is a member of Trinity Health. Based in the western suburbs of Chicago, LUHS’s 61-acre main medical center campus in Maywood includes a 559-licensed-bed hospital that houses a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Burn Center and the Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center.
