Man Arrested on Drug Charge Threatens To Bang Head On Wall: Court
Prosecutor said Orland Park police found pills in Crest Hill man's pocket during traffic stop.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- A Crest Hill man asked the judge if he wanted to see him bang his head on the wall during a bond hearing at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Jeffrey Tulley, 27, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Orland Park police arrested Tulley on Jan. 9, but he was hospitalized until Jan. 22, prosecutors said.
Tulley was in a car that had been stopped for a traffic violation in Orland Park. The prosecutor said officers found cannabinoid remnants inside the vehicle. Tulley allegedly had five blue capsules of an unspecified controlled substance in his pocket.
The prosecutor said Tulley is currently on probation for misdemeanor criminal trespassing to a vehicle that had been reduced from a felony burglary charge. He also has a pending obstruction of ID misdemeanor case.

Tulley’s attorney told the judge that her client voluntarily turned himself into Orland Park police. She believed Tulley’s problems were his bipolar issues and asked that he receive treatment in jail.
“I get your plea to me,” Felice said. “When is enough enough?”

Felice set bail at $25,000, and weekly reporting to pre-trial services.
“What if I bang my head against the wall,” Tulley said. “Do you want to see it?”
“I don’t recommend that you do,” the judge said.
Tulley is due back in court Feb. 6 in Bridgeview.
