ORLAND PARK, IL — A man broke into a restaurant in town and stole a register last week, the Orland Park Police Department said.

According to police, on Aug. 10, a man seen on video pried a door open and entered an unnamed restaurant in Orland Park. The man "helped himself to a register" before he ran out through the rear door of the facility, police said.

On Monday afternoon, Lieutenant Wayne Lee told Patch that police are still investigating the incident, and nobody has been taken into custody. Lee did not disclose which restaurant the burglary occurred at, or if any money was in the register.
