Marc Martel To Headline August 17 Centennial Park West Concert

The final show of the Centennial Park West Concert Series kicks off at 4:30 p.m. at the new Centennial Park West (15609 Park Station Blvd.)

The Village of Orland Park is excited to announce that Marc Martel will headline the August 17 Centennial Park West Concert.

“We are proud of all the hard work done to bring top-tier acts to the new Centennial Park West Concert Venue,” said Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau. “This concert will be a perfect Summer finale for an incredible Centennial Park West lineup.”

Born in Canada, Marc Martel grew up in Montreal listening to pop music such as George Michael. Martel would start a Christan rock band called Downhere with several of his college friends and would spend 13 years recording and touring the globe. When Queen drummer Roger Taylor was organizing a tribute band, Martel did an audition on vocals with the song, "Somebody to Love," and continued touring later with his own group Ultimate Queen Celebration, afterwards released an album of Queen covers, and has toured in over a dozen countries with his new tour, One Vision of Queen, the World’s Most Spectacular Queen Tribute Show.
