Mental Health First Aid Training in Orland Park Saturday, June 8

Sertoma Centre, Inc. & NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago offer free program on mental health challenges & crises

Sertoma Centre, Inc. and NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago will present Mental Health First Aid on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Orland Township, 14807 South Ravinia Avenue, in Orland Park. The free training will provide participants with -

  • Risk factors and warning signs of mental health and substance use problems
  • Information on depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis and substance use
  • A 5-step action plan to help someone who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis
  • Available evidence-based professional, peer and self-help resources

All participants receive a 3-year certificate and a Mental Health First Aid manual.
