Michigan Man Uses Stolen ID To Check Into Romantic Getaway Hotel: Prosecutor
Man calls Orland Park police complaining someone used his credit card to check into Essence Suites for romantic couple getaways.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- A man called police after he received a call from his credit card company informing him that someone used his card to check into an Orland Park hotel for romantic couple getaways, prosecutors said. Marvin Earl Bell, 23, of Michigan, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on a charge of aggravated identify theft.
According to the charges, Bell checked into Essence Suites in Orland Park on Sept. 8 under another name. The person whose name Bell used was notified by his credit card company. The man said he had not given Bell permission to use his credit card.
Orland Park police arrived to check Bell’s guest paperwork. Staff at the hotel identified Bell by the name on the credit card, the prosecutor said. He was taken into police custody.
