'Octomom' Shoplifter Caught Stuffing Diaper Bag With Cosmetics: Prosecutor

Midlothian mom of eight walked out of Orland Hills Walmart with $802 worth of cosmetics, prosecutor said.

A Midlothian mother of eight was arrested for stealing cosmetics and walking out of a Walmart store, prosecutors said.

Jeanna Long, 29, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a felony retail theft charge.

Long was arrested Sept. 5 after she was spotted stuffing $802 worth of cosmetics into a diaper bag at Walmart, 9265 W. 159th St., Orland Hills.

The prosecutor said Long had no publishable background.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Long had eight children with another on the way. She is currently on disability.

Long was released on a $30,000 I-bond and random drug testing.

She is due back n court Sept. 30 in Bridgeview.
