Onions On Sandwich Lead To Disorderly Conduct, Ban From Orland Shop
A man was angered when an employee put onions on his sandwich, Orland Park police said.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A Chicago man has been banned for life from an Orland Park sandwich shop, after becoming irate with a worker who put onions on his sandwich.
Brandon Carter, 37, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct Nov. 5 after the incident inside the Submarine City location, 9573 144th Place. Carter reportedly became angry when he witnessed the employee put onions on his sandwich, according to police reports.
The employee and Carter argued before Carter threw plastic bins at the employee, according to reports. The employee then threw the sandwich at Carter, who left the shop.

Police found Carter nearby following a call of disorderly conduct and spotting a vehicle matching witnesses' description. Employees confirmed to police that Carter was the customer involved in the incident, according to police reports. Shop employees were seen with food on them, police said, and Carter had food in his hair.
Carter told police he is allergic to onions.

Carter was charged with disorderly conduct, and given a Dec. 16 court date at Bridgeview Courthouse.
