Orland District 135 Seeks Trustee Candidates
Interested candidates need to explain their intentions in a written statement.

Orland School District 135 is seeking to fill a newly vacant seat for trustee, and requests that candidates submit their interest in writing.
The seat is available following Michael Carroll’s departure to assume his role with Orland Park Village Board, which he won in April’s election. Those interested in his seat must apply by 4 p.m. on Monday, June 15.
In a letter addressed to the superintendent’s office, the candidates should explain why they want to serve out the remaining two years of Carroll’s term. Based on those letters, the board will then select two or three finalists to interview June 22. The winner will be sworn in that night.
