Orland Firefighters Battle Pair of Garage Fires

ORLAND PARK, IL -- The Orland Fire Protection District fought a doubleheader of garage fires that happened Nov. 24 in Orland Park. Firefighters put out both fires in about 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters responded to a call of a possible garage fire in the 9000 block of 147th Street in Orland Park around 7 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, two detached garages were in flames near the adjacent homes. A full still alarm was called and the fire was quickly extinguished.

Orland was assisted by the Oak Forest Fire Department at the scene. The cause of the fires is under investigation.
