The Orland Firefighters Endorse Candidates for Trustee

The Orland Professional Firefighters are proud to extend our whole-hearted endorsement for Angela Greenfield and Tina Zekich. These incredible women are each seeking a seat on the Board of Trustees for the Orland Fire Protection District. The consolidated election, on April 4th, will feature 9 candidates running for two open seats.

Angela and Tina have been long time supporters of the Orland Fire Protection District through their volunteer work at the Township and with the Project Fire Buddies Organization. This is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring joy to the lives of local children battling illness. The Orland Firefighters are proud to be a part of this organization, and we believe Angela and Tina's involvement is exemplary of their kindness and willingness to help those in need.

Angela and Tina reached out to the Firefighters of Orland to discuss their platform and hear our concerns and desires for the future of the fire district. These women have pledged to responsibly maintain our operating budget, while supporting the men and women of the Orland Professional Firefighters. These women have the temerity to stand up for what is right so we can focus on what we do best, serving and protecting the residents. Together we will continue to build upon the high caliber Fire and Emergency Medical service we provide everyday.
