UPDATED: Foul Play Not Suspected in Orland Hills Teen Death at Millikin

Amanda Puckett, 19, was found unresponsive in her dorm room Sunday morning at the Decatur university. The cause of death is not yet known.

An Orland Hills teen attending Millikin University died Sunday morning, according to the school in Decatur.

Amanda Puckett, 19, was found unresponsive in her dorm at about 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, according to a statement from Interim President Patrick E. White on the university's website. The cause of death was not yet known, the release stated.

As of Monday evening, the cause of death still hasn't been determined though Macon County Coroner Michael Day does not suspect foul play, according to the SouthtownStar

Full results of the autopsy may not be available for weeks, but no signs of overt violence were seen initially, according to the report.

"We are devastated by this news," White said in the statement. "Millikin University is a close knit family, and this impacts us all."

Puckett was a sophomore at Millikin and was a music performance-instrumental major. She graduated from Andrew High School.

A memorial service for Puckett was held Sunday night on the Millikin campus, according to the school's website.
