Orland Junior High Principal Resigning At End Of School Year
In an email to parents, Dr. Edward Boswell said he will "embark on a new journey" come July 1.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Dr. Edward Boswell, principal of Orland Junior High School, will resign at the end of the 2019-2020 school year, his third in the role. Boswell confirmed this in an email to parents and Orland School District 135 said it is "appreciative" of his time at the school and wished him well in future endeavors in an email to Orland Park Patch.
Boswell's March 7 letter to parents said his resignation will be effective come June 30, but that he's committed to his role as principal of the school until then.
"I'd also like to clear up any miscommunication by letting you know that I was not forced to resign," Boswell wrote in the email. "I want to thank all of those who have reached out and shown great support for me. I absolutely love Orland Junior High School and the OJH students, staff and parents."
