Orland Park Lions Club Collecting Usable Footwear In Sneaker Drive

The collection effort aims to keep usable footwear out of landfills.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Lions Club has partnered with GotSneakers to launch a community-wide sneaker collection initiative.

The effort helps keep usable footwear out of landfills, reduces the demand for new manufacturing, and supports the growth of a sustainable circular economy.

Community members are encouraged to donate gently used sneakers. To participate, email orlandparklionsclub@gmail.com for drop-off details.

Donation Guidelines:

  • All sneakers must be paired
  • Please tie shoes together to ensure they remain matched
  • Only paired sneakers shipped together will qualify; unpaired shoes will not be accepted

Items Not Accepted:
Dress shoes, heels, rain boots, sandals, slip-ons, water socks, wedges, or work boots of any kind.
