Bradley has a pending felony case for aggravated battery with a deadly of weapon and unlawful restraint when Orland Park police said he beat up his 53-year-old mother and cut her face with a knife last February, Patch reported.

His attorney stated that the arrests centered around his mother’s deteriorating mental condition. After Friday’s hearing, Bradley’s mother told Patch that she had been at the Orland Park Police Station trying to get help for her son, who was suicidal and depressed. He was on the phone with her when he was arrested.

Bradley’s bail from the February case was revoked and he is currently being held at Cook County Jail. Bail for the new charges of resisting arrest and criminal damage to state supported property is set at $700,000.

Bradley is due back in court on July 23.
