Local Business Women "Do Lunch" and More
Nearly 200 local business women gathered for a satisfying menu of interaction, education and inspiration served during the Orland Women’s Networking Luncheon held Thursday, April 23 at the Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park.
An annual event organized by the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce, the day featured networking opportunities and information and products from more than 30 local vendors, businesses and organizations. Attendees also learned proven ways to attain their professional and life goals from guest presenter, Marcie Stern, a motivational speaker, professional development coach and published author of “Get Out of Your Own Way--Turn Your Inner Critic Into Your Inner Champion.”
“The OWN Luncheon is one of our most popular events of the year,” said OPACC Executive Director Keloryn Putnam. “It’s a great way for local business women to connect with one another in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Today’s event surpassed our expectations.”
