Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce Offers Educational Scholarship

Scholarship awards graduating seniors for academic excellence and community involvement

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer three $1000 scholarships to graduating senior students. Applicants must be the child of an Orland Chamber member or whose parent is an employee of an Orland Chamber business. High School students who are employed by a Chamber business are also encouraged to apply. Chamber membership in good standing will be verified at the time of application.

Scholarships are based on student’s high scholastic achievement, as well strong extra-curricular and community involvement.

Applications are now available on the homepage of the Chamber’s website, www.orlandparkchamber.org.

All completed applications and supporting documents must be received by the Chamber office, located at 8799 W 151st Street, by end of day, Friday, April 1. Winners will be awarded during a June reception at the Chamber’s office.

Established as a not-for-profit corporation in 1958, the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce continues its mission as being the primary resource to help business grow and prosper in the community. Among its more than 500 members include a diverse mix of retail, commercial and home-based businesses, and social, religious and governmental organizations. The Chamber office is located in a historic red-brick, one-room school house, at 8700 W 151st Street, in Orland Park.
