Orland Park Area Chamber Helps Mizu Cut Ribbon for Grand Opening

Orland Park Area Chamber Members welcome Mizu Sushi House to the area.

Tucked away in the corner of Mill Creek Shopping Center is a taste of another world.

Mizu Sushi House is worth looking for. The fresh seafood, attentive service and presentation will keep you coming back.

After working 13 years in the Sushi Restaurant industry, Tom Zheng opened Mizu in May of this year. “ When I was thinking of opening the restaurant, I thought about good service, clean and preparing healthy and good food.”

Once you get a taste of menu items such as Sashimi Deluxe or the Rainbow Roll, you will return time and time again.

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce recently joined Mizu Sushi House for their grand opening celebration. Included in the event was a ribbon cutting attended by Chamber members and Chamber President Rob Wehmeier.

Wehmeier has already been a customer for a few months.

“ My wife and I have been to the restaurant before and I love not only the food but the presentation,” says Wehmeier. “ We were there for dinner recently, our maki rolls arrive on a boat with a lit flower arrangement.”

Sushi is not the only item served at Mizu. The restaurant serves both hot and cold food items. One of owner Zheng’s favorite is the Beef Negimamki. In fact he encourages first time sushi tasters not to order sushi as a full meal if you’ve never tried it.

“ We designed a plate for first time sushi tasters,” said Zheng. Try the hot food first and order sushi as an appetizer.”

Mizu Sushi House is the only sushi restaurant in Palos Park. “ When they find us, they keep coming back, “ adds Zheng.

The restaurant is open Monday-Thursday 11:00am-10:00pm

Friday & Saturday 11:00am-11:00pm and Sunday from 12:00pm-10:00pm.

Mizu features all you can eat sushi lunch and there is a discount during their 2 Happy Hours which are from 3:00pm-4:30pm and 8:30pm-10pm.

Mizu Sushi House is located at 9664 W. 131rst Street in the Mill Creek Shopping Center in Palos Park. Call for additional information at 708-671-1988.
