Orland Park Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman at His Home

Gregory Perkins is alleged to have sexually assaulted a woman after waking her up at his home early Sunday morning.

ORLAND PARK, IL - An Orland Park man was charged this week with criminal sexual assault in connection to an alleged incident that occurred inside his home.

A woman told police she was out to dinner with friends Saturday night before the group relocated to the home of Gregory Perkins in the 13700 block of Legend Trail Lane. She said after falling asleep at the residence she was awakened by Perkins, who allegedly sexually assaulted her during the early morning hours on Sunday.

Perkins, 43 faces two counts of criminal sexual assault for two alleged separate acts which occurred at the same place and on the same day. He and the victim have known each other for two years, police said.

Police were assisted by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office in executing a search warrant at Perkins’ residence before he surrendered himself at the Orland Park police station.
