Orland Park July 4th Fireworks, Shagadelics Disco Tribune: 2018

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Orland Park marks the birthday of our nation with walk and run, concert and fireworks. The Independence Day celebration takes place July 3 and July 4 at Centennial Park, 15600 West Ave.

Veterans Liberty Run and Walk - July 3

Sprint, jog or walk the 1 or 2-mile course through Centennial Park in the Veterans Liberty Run and Walk. Runners and walkers step off 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 3. All participants will receive a Veterans Liberty Run race shirt, a wristband for admission to the Centennial Park Aquatic Center (good for only one admission on July 1, July 2, July 3 or July 4), post-race refreshments and entry into the raffle. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finisher, and the top male & female finisher in each of 13 age groups ranging from 9 to 65+.

Packet pick-up is June 28 through July 2 at Human Race Sports, 15148 S, LaGrange Road, Orland Park. On-site registration and packet pick-up for those not yet registered or who have not picked up their packets, begins at 5:30 p.m. on July 3 at the race site.

Fun Run: $14 resident, $20 non-resident
Fun Walk: $8 resident, $14 non-resident

Kids Run for Fun 50 Yard Dash - July 3

Cheer on our happiest participants in this 50-yard fun run, everyone wins dash! No pre-registration required for this free event. Dash will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. Awards to all participants! All ages welcome.

Independence Day Celebration - July 4

Start the evening off with a free concert featuring 1970s disco tribute band the Shagadelics from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., followed by the presentation of colors and fireworks at Centennial Park, 15600 West Ave.
