Orland Park Native Bill Rancic 'On the March' for Children's Charity

Rancic stars in a video to spread the word about "March for Kids," a fundraising push for Chicago's Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.

Celebrity, restaurateur and 'local boy done good' Bill Rancic is putting his fame to powerful use.

The Orland Park native stars in a video promoting a month-long fundraising push for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, a children’s charity dedicated to providing a solution for at-risk children in Chicago. In the video, Rancic romps around town, getting the word out about the nonprofit's "March for Kids" campaign.

Rancic is seen tagging people throughout Chicago to join the cause, with cameos by George Wendt, cast members from Chicago Fire, Billy Goat proprietor Sam Sianis, and ABC7 anchor Kathy Brock. And it’s narrated (reminiscent of ‘Anchorman the Movie’) by Bill Kurtis.
