Orland Park-Orland Hills 2017 Sex Offender Safety Map

There are a combined 18 registered sex offenders living in Orland Park and Orland Hills.

ORLAND PARK-ORLAND HILLS, IL -- Fall is a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood, especially before the kids go out trick or treating for Halloween. In accordance with the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, local law enforcement is required to make at least one in-person, random check at the registered sex offender’s residence.

There are currently 18 registered sex offenders living in the Orland Park and Orland Hills communities; two are non-compliant and one is incarcerated in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Thirteen are classified sexual predators.

Convicted sex predator Tyrone Everhart, 40, is serving a life sentence for aggravated criminal sexual assault, residential burglary, escape with a dangerous weapon and escape from a penal institution. He is ineligible for parole, according to state prison records.

A pair of sexual predators from Orland Park, Robert Campbell, 47, and Michael Joseph Rio, 46, are also listed on the registry as non-compliant for failure to keep accurate records. Campbell’s last known address is the 11801 W 159th Street, Orland Park. Campbell was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault. His victim was 4 and Campbell 25 at the time of the event.

Michael Joseph Rio was convicted of traveling to meet a 15-year-old minor. His last known address in Orland Park is 8431 W. 135th St. He was convicted out of state.

Registered sex offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween. They may not appear in public wearing a Halloween costume or other child-centered character, such as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Registered sex offenders, however, may wear a Halloween costume in their home, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
