Orland Park Recreation Hosts April 28 Clean the Park Day

Volunteer groups and students needing community service hours are invited to celebrate Earth Week with the village's Clean the Parks event.

Village of Orland Park’s Smart Living green initiative celebrates Earth Week with Clean the Parks and the Paths on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Residents and volunteer groups of all ages are invited to come out to Centennial Park Warming House located at 15600 West Avenue & Fun Drive. The village will provide plastic gloves, bags, buckets and grabbers.
Tasks include picking up debris around Centennial Park, including the Dogout Dog Park, the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink, and surrounding ball fields.

Volunteers are reminded to dress appropriately and for the weather. Clean the Park & Paths is weather-dependent.
