Orland Park Sportsplex Annual Family Health Fair Returns March 14

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Village of Orland Park Recreation & Parks Department will hold its annual Family Health Fair on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Village of Orland Park Sportsplex, 11351 West 159th Street.

Topics will address the fitness needs of the entire family. The event is free and open to all ages.

"This event is a great opportunity for families to attend a fitness event together and to emphasize the benefits of staying healthy," said Orland Park Mayor Jim Dodge. “It’s important for everyone to invest in their health, and there will be something that everyone will be able to take away from this event.”

The fair will offer free screenings and information on important topics such as mental health care, senior care, insurance, eye care, dental care and other counseling services. Orland Park Police, Orland Fire District and Orland Public Library representatives will have tables staffed where you can ask questions or learn about upcoming events they are hosting.

This event covers many aspects of health, mind, body and more. Several new vendors will also be present, sharing information about stem cell patch activation, healthy juices and vitamins, physical therapy and other wellness services.

Children will enjoy an obstacle course, soccer dribble, a mini hoop shoot, mini bounce house, snacks, face painting and more. The Sportsplex T-Rex will make an appearance as well.
