Orland Park Theatre Troupe Auditioning for Holiday Show
Auditions will be held Oct. 6–7.

The Village of Orland Park Theatre Troupe is holding auditions for its holiday show, “The Rented Christmas,” on Monday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Auditions are held at Orland Park’s Old Village Hall, 14413 South Beacon Avenue.
“Each year, we like to help people get into the holiday spirit with our Christmas show,” said Resident Producer/Director Frann Carnivele. “This is a sweet story that is perfect for the holiday season.”
John Dale hasn’t enjoyed a real Christmas for years so he decides to rent one. The owner of the local rental agency is flustered with the requirements that include a tree with presents, carols, a wife and five children. This show is based on the short story by J. Lillian Vandervere.
