Orland Park Unveils Local Shopping Incentive Program

The Village of Orland Park has unveiled a new program that promotes the village's businesses and encourages shoppers to shop, dine and play.

ORLAND PARK, IL – The Village of Orland Park has unveiled a new program that promotes the village's businesses and encourages shoppers to shop, dine and play locally.

The Shop Orland Park Incentive Rebate Program will begin on July 6 and run through Aug. 2.

Purchases from $300 to $499 qualify for a $10 Visa gift card. Purchases of $500 and more qualify for a $30 Visa gift card. Under the program, anyone who submits a receipt from any of the Orland Park retailers, restaurants o r hotels during the shopping period will be eligible for the gift cards.

"The past few months have been difficult for everyone in Orland Park including our business community," said Mayor Keith Pekau in a prepared statement. "Despite these hardships, so many in our business community have shown true dedication by continuing to operate at some capacity while managing to keep employees and customers healthy and safe."

In order to claim the gift card, shopper must submit sales receipts and a completed Shop Orland Park Incentive rebate form to Orland Park Village Hall by Aug. 31.

The program is open to resident and non-residents, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A second program, the Orland Park Autos Vehicle Incentive Program, grants a rebate in the form of a Visa gift card after the purchase of a new or used vehicle at any Orland Park auto dealership during the same period. The gift card is based on the vehicle purchase and can be valued at up to $525.

The gift cards are redeemable at any Orland Park business.
