Orland Park Woman Wanted For Reporting Fake Burglary: Police

Detective said woman reported her TV stolen, then pawned it at a pawn shop.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- An Orland Park woman who contacted police in July is wanted for reporting a fake burglary, a detective said in court. The detective said she has stood him up on two occasions when she promised to turn herself in. Cook County Judge Peter Felice issued an arrest warrant for $10,000. Lille is being charged with disorderly conduct.

According to the charges, Lille called Orland Park police on July 12 to report that her condo in the 9200 block of Woodbury Court was burglarized. Lille allegedly told police that her television was stolen. She just wanted to file a report for the insurance claim, but didn’t want police to investigate the burglary, the detective said.

The detective told the judge there are video and photos of Lille pawning the TV at a pawn shop that match the original report. He said Lille has stopped answering her phone. She allegedly promised to turn herself in, but told the detective that she was having car trouble and asked him to pick her up. The prosecutor told the judge that Lille served probation on a 2014 drug charge.
