Orland Police Raid Nets Cocaine, MDMA, Cannabis: Prosecutor
Orland Park police left copy of warrant on Oak Forest man's kitchen table letting him know they stopped by, prosecutor said.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park police found an assortment of drugs and packaging materials while executing a search warrant at an Oak Forest man’s apartment, prosecutors said. Angelo Katriadakis, 27, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Around 2 p.m. Feb. 6, Orland Park police went to an apartment complex in the 14700 block of South Central, Oak Forest, to execute a search warrant at Katriadakis’ unit, according to the charges. Officers knocked on the several times and announced themselves but received no response. When it appeared that no one was home, the prosecutor said officers used a key to gete into the unit provided by the building manager.
Inside the apartment, officers found 17 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of MDMA in various forms, 3.5 grams of Alprazolam and 175 grams of cannabis, including THC concentrate, along with numerous vials of testosterone and steroids. Officers also uncovered cut straws and drug packaging materials, the prosecutor said. Police left a copy of the search warrant on the kitchen table.

Officers headed over to Katriadakis’ father’s house. His father told police that his son was in the bathroom. When Katriadakis came out, he was arrested the prosecutor said.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Katriadakis works at a restaurant and is a 2010 graduate of Sandburg High School. He has no criminal background.

The judge set a $100,000 cash bail. Katriadakis is due back in court March 6 in Bridgeview.
