Orland Square Mall Heads Back to School in Style with Seasonal Trends Showcase

Orland Square Mall, one of Chicagoland’s leading fashion destinations with more than 150 popular retail options, invites area students and their families to the center’s annual Back-to-School Seasonal Trends Showcase on Saturday, August 8, at 1 p.m. The free event features a fashion show highlighting this year’s hottest back-to-school styles, product sampling, exclusive giveaways and more.

“Nothing commemorates the start of the new school year like the perfect ensemble and we’re excited to help send students back to school in style with looks from Orland Square Mall,” said Gayle Gleespen, director of marketing and business development at Orland Square Mall. “With more than 150 popular retailers, the center has everything students could want or need to head to the top of the style class.”

Event goers will be treated to an afternoon of interactive activities including a seasonal fashion show, which begins at 1 p.m., featuring looks from A|X Armani Exchange, Akira, Gap, and many others, styled by Jenny Applegate with The Leading Image. Attendees will also enjoy product sampling, including wellness products from Aveda, back pack fittings from Vera Bradley, swag bag giveaways full of goodies and special offers from select retailers and more.

As an added bonus, from August 1 through August 7, shoppers are invited to post a photo* of their back-to-school outfit featuring retailers from Orland Square Mall on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #OrlandBTS for the chance to win** a shopping spree courtesy of the center.
