The Orland Township Assessor's Office Assessment Appeal Workshop

ORLAND PARK, IL - The Orland Township Assessor's Office is scheduled to facilitate a workshop focusing on property appeals, planned for Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The venue for this workshop is the Orland Township Activity Center, located at 14807 S. Ravinia Ave.

The workshop will be held with Cook County Assessor Fritz Kaegi's office, who is responsible for setting assessment levels. Notably, property assessments in Orland Township, akin to many other suburban communities within Cook County, have experienced substantial increases, with numerous properties reflecting escalations of over 20 percent.

This workshop will cover the appeal process and a guide on filing an appeal online with the Cook County Assessor's Office. You must be a resident of Orland Township to file. Seating is limited to the first 100 people.
