ORLAND PARK, IL — Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month (OAM). The 2023 theme is Aging Unbound, which offers an opportunity to explore diverse aging experiences and discuss how communities can combat stereotypes. Join Orland Township in promoting flexible thinking about aging – and how we all benefit when older adults remain engaged, independent, and included.

Older Americans can look forward to specially themed drop-in days, a health fair, luncheons, and dinner dances to continue the celebrations.

Every Thursday and Friday in May, the Orland Township Drop-In Center will be loaded with fun in honor of Orland Township seniors, including parties themed for a Kentucky Derby Celebration, Cinco de Mayo Celebration, Mother’s Day, and Armed Forces Day! Seniors will have the opportunity to socialize, play bingo, and enjoy a delicious lunch.
