Orland Township Polling Places Change Locations In 3 Precincts
The polling places for three Orland Township precincts have changed locations for the upcoming gubernatorial election on Nov. 6.

ORLAND TOWNSHIP, IL -- Some voters in suburban Cook County will have a new polling place for the Nov. 6 Gubernatorial Election, Cook County Clerk David Orr announced.
There are 1,599 precincts in suburban Cook County and nearly 1,000 polling places. While polling places are primarily public buildings, they can change for a variety of reasons, such as safety issues, construction projects or space constraints.
Households impacted by these changes will or should have received a postcard. Three Orland Township precincts have changed locations, especially if you’re registering to vote on Election Day. Same-day registration is only possible at a voter's assigned local polling place. The voter must present two forms of identification to participate in same-day registration, one of which must show a current address.

Polling places for Orland Township precincts 5, 53 and 56 that formerly voted at the Robert Davidson Center, have been relocated to the Orland Park Cultural Center, 14760 Park Lane in Orland Park. Polls will be open on Election Day, Nov. 6 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Suburban Cook County residents can find their assigned polling location by entering their home address in the search bar on the Cook County Clerk's website as well as a sample ballot.
Early voting in the 2018 Gubernatorial Election ends on Nov. 5. Find early voting locations and hours. Voters do not need to provide an excuse or reason why they cannot vote on Election Day. A government-issued, valid ID is not required but is helpful if there is a question about your voter registration.
You can Register to Vote at ALL Early Voting Sites. Any voter registering for the first time or filing an address change must present two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter's current address.
Suburban Cook County voters have the option of voting at any Early Voting site in suburban Cook County or at the Clerk’s downtown Chicago office. They can take advantage of a new feature to make the Early Voting experience quicker and easier, the Early Voting Wait Time Viewer. Viewable either on desktop computers or mobile devices, the Wait Time Viewer on the clerk’s office website provides visitors to the page with an interactive map that will show the wait time – if any – at each of suburban Cook County’s Early Voting sites. The site updates every 20 minutes.
