Orland Township's Bingo Fest a Success
The Township's very first Bingo Fest welcomed a crowd of 400 and raised more than $10,000 for the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation.

Orland Township hosted its first-ever Bingo Fest on Saturday, March 26, 2022. The event allowed participants to enjoy a night of bingo while spending quality time with their families, friends, and community. A sold out crowd of 400 people joined and more than $10,000 was raised for the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation.

“We cannot thank all of those who participated in our first Bingo Fest to support the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation,” stated Supervisor Paul O’Grady, President of the foundation. “The funds raised for this event will make a significant impact for the students involved in our community whom the Scholarship Foundation is so glad to support.”
Before the night began, guests were entertained by musician Ral Donner Jr. while enjoying dinner and drinks. With prizes like official signed Chicago Bears merchandise, foursome golf and spa packages, jewelry, and a number of certificates to local spas and restaurants, there were opportunities to win like never "B4" in each of the five rounds played.

“I’m so glad my friends and I decided to come out to this!” said resident Melanie Smith. “We’re new to the area– and always looking for something new to do. It’s exciting to hear about all the fun things the Township has to offer, and we can’t wait for the next Bingo Fest!”
All proceeds from the event, beyond the cost of prizes and overhead, benefit the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation, which awards scholarship funds to local students based on academic achievement and community service. The Scholarship Foundation helps graduating Township high school seniors each year to have the resources they need to pay for the escalating cost of college.
