OSD135 Seeks Community's Input on Strategic Plan Survey
As OSD135 begins the strategic planning process for their five-year plan, they are asking the community to share their feedback.

Orland School District 135 is embarking on a strategic planning process during the Spring of 2024 with RJM Consulting Services Inc.
As D135 begins the strategic long-range planning process for their five-year plan, Orland School District 135 is asking staff, parents, and members of the community to share their feedback through a survey, which closes on March 31st. This survey will assist the district in making decisions about the future.
The strategic long-range plan is how the district supports schools to ensure each student’s academic success. The focus areas of study set forth by the school board and administration form the fundamental principles of the strategic long-range plan. The community's collaboration and input into this framework are essential to the successful outcome of this plan.

The District emphasizes building on the many past accomplishments to continue their quest to maintain and enhance a culture of continuous improvement. A key element to gathering feedback is the formation of a Strategic Long Range Planning Committee. The committee, comprised of approximately 50-75 people, is a diverse group that includes parents, board members, administration, staff, and community members. In addition to input, the committee members will offer additional feedback as they develop the recommended five-year plan.
On May 10 and 11, the district will engage in a strategic long-range planning process to yield the five-year plan for the future. The following survey is being conducted to collect input from stakeholders.
The survey has 7 categories. The 6 areas with asterisks below represent the focus areas of study for planning:
