Palos Heights Attorney Appointed to Board of Directors of Illinois Bar Foundation
The Illinois Bar Foundation welcomes Palos Heights attorney, David Sosin, to the Board of Directors.

CHICAGO, IL, July 2016 – David Sosin, founding partner in the Palos Heights law firm of Sosin, Arnold, & Schoenbeck Ltd., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Bar Foundation (IBF), the charitable arm of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). He will serve a two-year term.
The Foundation raises funds for distribution to Illinois nonprofit organizations whose mission is to provide meaningful access to justice, especially for those with limited means. It also provides assistance to lawyers who can no longer support themselves due to incapacity. This year, the Foundation will distribute more than $750,000 in funds.
Sosin, who concentrates his law practice in complex business litigation, is a past president of the Illinois Bar Foundation and was a charter member of the Lincoln Legacy Society that recognizes planned giving to the Foundation. He was recently elected Third Vice President of the Illinois State Bar Association and will become President of the ISBA in 2019. He currently serves on the board of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company. He was named a member of the ISBA’s College of Laureates and has received the organization’s Board of Governors Award for Distinguished Service.

Sosin is a former member of the District 142 School Board and is past vice president of the Bremen Township High School Board. He has served as village attorney for the Village of Crestwood for more than a decade.
