Petting Zoo, Race Cars, Free Food At Orland Hills Walmart Re-Opening
Officials said the renovated store will include more checkout lanes, an updated produce section and a relocated pharmacy for convenience.

ORLAND HILLS, IL — The newly renovated and long anticipated Walmart Supercenter will be re-opening its Orland Hills location Friday, officials from the global chain said.
The center will open Friday at 9 a.m. at the 9265 159th Street location. The store was first shut down for remodeling in April of 2018, when Walmart officials pledged an estimated $56 million to remodel 16 stores throughout Illinois. The latest remodels were done overnight.
The "Re-Grand Opening" will include a petting zoo, race car display and free products from vendors. A spokeswoman for the store also said Walmart will award grants to local police and fire departments during the ceremony.
