Pizza Playoffs: Who Makes The Most Loved In Orland Park?
Patch is holding a most-loved pizza contest among neighboring towns, and Orland Park will face off against seven other slice-slingers. Pick a local pizza to represent the town.

The closer we get to Feb. 5, the more people’s allegiances show.
No, I’m not talking about football. The Bears aren’t playing, so who cares about that bowl game, right? Right. The Super Bowl is for commercials and food, as long as this guy is concerned.
With that in mind, we decided to settle once and for all who makes the best pizza of all in our area?

Presenting the Patch Pizza Playoffs. There are brackets, and there are rules. But these are fun rules, not the after school detention type. Or so I’ve heard. Of course, I wouldn’t know anything about that.
Before we reveal the full game on Thursday, we first need you to pick the best locally owned pizzeria.

By locally owned, we mean our village’s independent, mom-and-pop, toss-the-dough-up-in-the-air kind of places. No chains please.
Here’s how it works:
- Nominate your favorite pizza place in the comments or on the Orland Park Patch Facebook page wall (look for the post asking for comments).
- One winner will emerge from the Orland Park contenders so get ready to vote. I know you have an opinion. I’ve seen the comments.
- Orland Park’s top pizzeria will go up against one of the winners from Oak Lawn-Evergreen Park, Palos, New Lenox, Tinley Park-Oak Forest, Frankfort-Mokena, Homewood-Flossmoor and Chicago Heights-Olympia Fields.
- First-round voting will launch on Feb. 2 and will conclude at midnight Feb. 5.
- The pizza in our bracket to collect the most votes will advance to the Super Pizza championship round and vie for the title of The Most Loved Pizza in the Southland—an honor to be awarded after championship voting concludes Feb. 12.
To get you warmed up, here’s what you’ve already said about Orland Park pizza, and a list of pizzerias in town.
Choose wisely and bring home the cheese-laden trophy to Orland Park.
