Tinted Windows Lead to Guns Drawn During Arrest in Orland Park
Two men arrested outside a gas station for allegedly using counterfeit money at a local grocery store.

Orland Park police were seen Wednesday with guns drawn outside a gas station at 143rd and LaGrange Rd., as they curbed two men accused of using counterfeit money.
The incident took place at Whole Foods, 15260 South La Grange Rd., said Orland Park Police Commander John Keating. The exchange was spotted by an officer in plain clothes, Keating said, and called in around 1:49 p.m.
The suspects fled and police followed the car north to a BP station, where they ordered the driver to pull over. Officers drew their guns due to an initial lack of compliance from the suspects, and lack of visibility due to the car’s tinted windows. After a brief wait, the two emerged from the car and were taken into custody.
