POSA Swimmers Headed to Nationals After a Stellar Winter Season!
The Palos Orland Swim Association (POSA) is a year round age group swim club established in Orland Park.

The Palos Orland Swim Association (POSA) sent several swimmers to compete at the Illinois Age Group State Championship March 7-10th and are headed to the NSCA National Championship Meet in Orlando, FL March 27-30th.
POSA was established in 1963 and is an age group competitive swim team that is the main feeder program for the Carl Sandburg High School Swim Teams. The swim club is led by Joshua Rogers, a former Sandburg swimmer that went on to be an All-American Swimmer at Lewis University.
The State meet proved to be a success for the team, with 18 top 20 finishes in the State and many POSA Records being broken that weekend! Some of the top swims included Maya Dobry (11-12 age group) being the 4th fastest in the 50 yard Breaststroke, Ella Giblin (9-10 age group) being the 7th fastest in the 200 yard IM, Gunner Hinger (9-10 age group) being the 6th fastest with the 100 yard Breaststroke, and John Howaniec (11-12 age group) being the 8th fastest in the 1000 yard freestyle.
