Pot and Pills Found in Former Wrestler's Crotch: Cops

Gore told police the hydrocodone pills belonged to his father, prosecutors said.

A former all-star wrestler was charged with possession of a controlled substance when he was stopped by Orland Park police for a traffic violation, prosecutors said.

According to the charges officers stopped William Gore, 20, on Nov. 18 for several lane violations. Officers said they could smell cannabis when they approached Gore’s vehicle.

During a pat down, prosecutors said that police found two suspect hydrocodone pills and suspect cannabis hidden in Gore’s crotch.

Gore allegedly told police the hydrocodone pills belonged to his father.

Gore’s attorney told the judge that his client was an all-star wrestler at the University of Wisconsin, but got hurt and left the program. Gore currently lives in Tinley Park.

He was given an I-bond and given a curfew. Gore was also assigned random drug testing.

Gore’s next court hearing in Bridgeview on Dec. 9.
